Life has been very busy for the last couple weeks. For those of you following my blog, thank you for your thoughts and prayers for my dear uncle during the last several months.Uncle Mark passed away on Thursday, June 10th at 10:30 pm. I was blessed to have been there. My Dad had called me at work that morning and by his broken voice I knew it was time. By the time I picked my girls up from the after school program it was getting nasty and a severe winter weather warning was issued. I told my husband that I thought the schools would be closed tomorrow. He said that they only close when the temperatures are too low (about -35 degrees Celsuis). Well, low and behold, they are closed today. Many of the roads in our area are closed. Many, many vehicles are in the ditches. And we are still under the severe winter weather warning. Here are some pics!I'm off

Hi everyone,I am sorry that I have not been able to post as often as I would like to. Recently, my Mom became sick with a cold. Usually that would not be a big deal, right? The difference is that my Mom has COPD - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (similar to Emphysema). She is on oxygen 24/7 and has had this disease for 7 years.
