Happy April friends,
How fast the world can change in a relatively short period of time.
From racing from home to work, to activities, to home again and everything in between.
Staying at home, only going out once a week for necessities and home again.
And all because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
How has this pandemic changed your life? What are you doing more of? Less of? Have you had time to do something you enjoy that you hadn’t had time to do? Have you been spending more time reflecting, meditating, exercising, reading?
Are you viewing this period of time as negative or positive?
I know that this period of time can cause anxiety and stress – I feel it too. When it starts to creep up on me or take me by surprise, I try to do something that I enjoy and that calms me. That includes yoga (shout out to Yoga by Adriene), a walk outside, running on my treadmill while watching Grace & Frankie, or papercrafting (making both cards and scrapbook layouts).
My family and I have also made more time to enjoy the simple things. Instead of vacations, we are playing Mario Kart and having homemade dinner together.
Take time for YOU. Spend quality time with your family. Reflect. Meditate. Exercise. Breathe.
I encourage you to scrapbook and/or journal this experience. I believe this experience will teach us many things and they may be unique to us.
To help you create your own scrapbook and/or journal this experience, we have the perfect stamp set for you!
